The plant has
been operating a Quality Management system since February
1989 to control its operations. The system was upgraded in
December 2003 meeting the requirements of BS EN ISO 9001:2000
(Cert No. FM 00718). The Quality Management system is verified
by external independent auditors in- line with internal audit
schedules.

Castings can be checked in a variety of ways
including (by approved standard laboratories)
• Destructive Testing
• Non Destructive Testing (NDT)
• Wet Chemical analysis
All new dies or engineering changes are measured
and full dimensional ISIR's are issued on internal paperwork
or if required on customer specific forms.
